Caterpillar's Remanufacturing Division is seeking a Supply Chain Analytics Analyst to support the Franklin, Indiana facility . This role is a key contributor within the Supply Chain organization, focused on advanced Excel analysis, reporting, and data visualization (including Power BI) to turn complex demand, order, and inventory data into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys uncovering insights in data, building intuitive reports and dashboards, and effectively sharing results to support informed business decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Degree Requirement :
Degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, a closely related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
What You Will Do:
Provide analytical support for system and planning discussions, including demand, backorders, inventory, and ERP data inquiries
Partner closely with Supply Chain, Planning, and Operations stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable analytics
Perform data preparation, modeling, and validation to support automated, refreshable, and scalable reporting solutions
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and analytical reports supporting demand, orders, inventory, and cycle count activities
What You Have:
ASCM CSCP, CPIM, or similar certification
Strong analytical and data visualization skills (Excel, Power BI) with familiarity in planning/ERP tools such as QAD/Mfg Pro
Experience in supply chain, MRP, or materials planning, including support of manufacturing or factory operations through analytics or operational collaboration
Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.
Level Extensive Experience:
Analyzes business processes, identifies alternative solutions to outdated processes and assesses their feasibility.
Recommends new approaches that seek the use of advanced technology.
Establishes requirements for large changes in the overall mission, roles, responsibilities and processes necessary to make business improvements.
Participates in defining organizational strategic goals and purposes; defines how to gather and keep customers.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Level Extensive Experience:
Seeks discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information; explains variances.
Organizes and prioritizes the sequence of steps to be taken to remedy the situation.
Identifies many possible causes for a problem based on prior experience and current research.

Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.

Advises others on capacity issues at various points in the supply chain.
Monitors the complete supply chain management process.
Consults on supply chain network design projects or processes.
Quantifies and evaluates benefits and risks of various supply chain strategies and approaches.
Participates in joint planning, process design/redesign with clients and partners.

Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
