Small Engine Mechanic

Our client, an outdoor equipment company, is seeking a Small Engine Mechanic to join their team. As a Small Engine Mechanic, you will be part of the service department supporting outdoor power equipment maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Small Engine Mechanic

Location: Scotia, NY

Pay Range: $21-26hr

Shift:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Overtime required as needed

What's the Job?

Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawn mowers, snow blowers, trimmers, and other outdoor power equipment

Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, and part replacements

Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Ensure all work is completed in a timely and professional manner

What's Needed?

Minimum of 2 years of small engine repair experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Must be able to work overtime as required
