Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistJob Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the Accounts Payable function during a period of transition and increased workload. This role is ideal for an experienced AP professional who is comfortable stepping into an evolving environment, identifying issues, and supporting core AP processes. There may be longer-term responsibilities or potential for conversion depending on business needs following an ownership transition.

Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices and financial reports.

Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

Support the transition and evolution of AP processes during periods of change.

Essential Skills

2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.

Proficiency in invoice processing, accounting, and invoicing.

Proven experience working in an ERP system.

Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with Excel, SAP, and way match processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a high-volume environment.

Hands-on experience with financial data entry.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Professional communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and stakeholders.

Comfortable working in a changing environment with evolving processes.

Work Environment

This position requires working in a dynamic and evolving environment with a focus on efficiency and precision. The role involves collaboration with both vendors and internal teams, utilizing technology such as ERP systems, Excel, and SAP. The work setting emphasizes professional communication and adaptability.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Akron, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
