Laboratory Technician

Day Shift Opportunity | Work within R&D | Offers Benefits

Job Description

This position involves transforming frozen plasma into freeze-dried plasma. The role requires handling frozen plasma, thawing it, and transferring it to a lyophilizer for moisture extraction. The repackaging process takes place in the kitting room, with all units meticulously tracked in a BECS system. Attention to detail and experience in a GMP environment are crucial.

Responsibilities

Champion a safety-driven culture and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Manufacture, inspect, and package products according to written processes.

Meet or exceed established time standards while ensuring product quality.

Build, inspect, and package products using applicable equipment, performing visual, dimensional, time, and documentation checks.

Identify quality issues or workmanship deficiencies related to equipment, assembly, inspection processes, materials, and sub-assemblies.

Comply with GMP requirements by maintaining training records and completing data entry in production records accurately and timely.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Comply with all policies and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

6+ months experience working in a GMP environment.

Bachelors of Science in Biology or Biomedical Sciences is preferred, but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
