Pay Rate: $21.07 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and observe visitor and/or vendor activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and support orderly movement throughout the location.

Support staff with security-related concerns, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual observations in a clear and timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a current armed guard card.

Meet hospital vaccination requirements.

Be able to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
