Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, reliability, and integrity while making a meaningful impact for patients, visitors, and staff every day.

Pay Rate: $20.66 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:30 PM - 06:30 AMFri06:30 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, urgent situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas, assisting with visitor directions, access control practices, and other security-related duties based on location needs.

Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, disturbances, and policy concerns, while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Applicants must meet hospital vaccine requirements.

Applicants must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Applicants must be able to restrain individuals.

Applicants must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
