Aerotek is hiring IMMEDIATELY for a dayshift Warehouse Associate in Sussex County, Delaware! This is a contract to hire position offering weekly pay and opportunities for advancement! Candidates must have experience operating stand up forklifts and utilizing RF Scanners.

Payrate: $17 an hour//Paid Weekly!

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated warehouse associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks, handle order assignments, label packages, and assist in loading trailers to meet tight deadlines. Success in this role requires keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, relocate, and stack products.

Assign orders and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Label packages accurately and efficiently according to company standards.

Assist in loading and unloading trailers to meet shipping deadlines.

Use RF scanners to track and manage inventory.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.

Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.

Essential Skills

Proven experience operating stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks.

Experience using RF scanners.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Shift: 1st Shift, Day Shift, M-F

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, DE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
