We are looking for you to join our team as a Business Management Analyst - Accounting . The preferred location is on-site in Linthicum, MD , but may be staffed as full-time telecommuting.

What You'll get to Do:

This requisition represents multiple existing opportunities within our Mission Systems sector Business Management organization. If selected, the Business Management Analyst-Accounting will provide support within one of four divisions as determined by business need, candidate background, and experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.

Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.

Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures.

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations

Participate in special projects and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration such as Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management or Marketing, or a related field (e.g., Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 2 years of financial work experience.

Basic understanding of Government Compliance core concepts and regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation, VBA macros, etc.)

US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of financial accounting work experience

SAP or similar ERP software experience

Professional experience in Aerospace & Defense, Financial Services, or Telecommunications.

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,400.00 - $108,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
