Kelly® is hiring an experienced Administrative Specialist to support the onsite Procurement team of a top Oil & Gas client in Joliet, Illinois.

Job Title: Administrative Specialist (Procurement)

Location: Onsite - Joliet, IL

Pay: $33 - $37 per hour

Job Type: 1 year contract, potential for renewal

Position Overview:

Supporting a leading Oil & Gas company in Joliet, IL, providing critical administrative and SAP support for their Procurement operations. If you excel in SAP and thrive in dynamic, industrial environments, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support onsite for the Procurement group.

Process and track purchase requisitions using SAP (work orders, ME51N, IW32, invoicing, troubleshooting).

Communicate with vendors and assist with quote analysis.

Learn and utilize new procurement platforms (training on STRIPES/AMP provided; SAP proficiency required).

Ensure compliance and accuracy in purchase and invoice documentation.

Work flexible schedules with significant overtime during peak periods.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on SAP experience, including creating purchase requisitions for materials and services.

Experience troubleshooting invoices within SAP.

Industrial sector experience (Oil & Gas, Steel, or Manufacturing) highly preferred.

Commercial and industrial quote knowledge a plus.

Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fluctuating schedules.

Must pass an SAP skills assessment as part of the interview process.
