Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker accurately prepares, packages, and ships products while maintaining precise inventory records and supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role involves handling raw materials and finished goods, operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, and ensuring all documentation and labeling meet shipping requirements in a well-organized, production-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Accurately prepare and package products in accordance with shipping requirements and customer specifications.
Ensure all outgoing shipments include correct documentation, labels, and required paperwork.
Coordinate outsourcing activities as directed, ensuring materials and products move efficiently between internal and external resources.
Stage raw materials for production, ensuring they are available in the correct locations and quantities.
Store finished goods in designated areas, maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse layout.
Manage receiving, unloading, and inspection of incoming materials to verify accuracy and quality.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity.
Use inventory management systems or ERP software to track materials, orders, and stock levels.
Drive and oversee routine maintenance of company vehicles to ensure they remain safe and operational.
Safely operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down) and other warehouse equipment in compliance with safety procedures.
Perform general warehouse and logistics duties, including loading, unloading, picking, and order picking.
Use computers and relevant software (such as JobBOSS or similar systems) to complete warehouse transactions and documentation.
Adapt to changing priorities in a warehouse and production environment while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support smooth warehouse and production operations.
Perform additional warehouse and logistics tasks as assigned to support overall business needs.
Essential Skills
Experience operating forklifts, including stand-up and sit-down models, in a warehouse environment.
Proficiency in inventory handling, including receiving, storing, and staging materials and finished goods.
Hands-on experience with packaging, order picking, loading, and general material handling tasks.
Previous experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
Ability to use computers and warehouse-related software such as JobBOSS or similar systems.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, labeling, and inventory records.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as effectively within a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a warehouse and production environment.
Capability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow established safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a machine shop, manufacturing, or production-oriented warehouse.
Familiarity with order picking processes and best practices for efficient material flow.
Comfort with general labor duties in a warehouse setting, including loading and unloading.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with production, logistics, and other internal teams.
Reliability and a strong work ethic, with a focus on meeting deadlines and supporting team goals.

Work Environment
This position operates on a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., offering a consistent daytime work routine. The role is based in a machine shop environment that is well lit and temperature controlled, providing a comfortable and safe workplace. You regularly work around warehouse equipment and machinery, including forklifts and company vehicles, while following established safety practices. The environment combines warehouse and production activities, requiring focus, organization, and collaboration throughout the day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
