As a Security Officer - Medical Center in Escondido, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping to monitor assigned areas through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will support a secure environment by responding to security-related concerns, assisting staff, patients, and visitors with professionalism, and delivering strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting details to site leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, and other assigned areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and/or support site protocols.

Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Hospital morgue experience is required.

Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.

A guard card or license is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
