The Valley County Health System (VCHS) Rehabilitation Services team has a great opportunity available for a Rehabilitation Technician to join our professional and dedicated care team. This is a full-time position with a Saturday morning rotation.
JOB SUMMARY: The Rehab Tech assists the Physical Therapist and/or Physical Therapy Assistant with patient rehabilitation and performs some modalities. The Tech also prepares the patient and treatment area for the administration of procedures and therapy, performs patient care-related activities to support effective therapy care and performs various clerical duties to support effective department operations. Ideal candidates should have strong clerical duties, including the use of computers and multi-line phone systems. Some travel to offsite locations is required. The position includes periodic travel to satellite clinics in Burwell and Loup City.
REQUIREMENTS: - Strong experience with and knowledge of computers (work, excel, etc.) - Independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills - CPR certification
