About the Job:
The Manager of Franchising and Finance plays a critical role in monitoring and protecting the financial health of the Taco Bell franchise system. This leader oversees brand-related collections, partners closely with franchisees and licensees to align asset strategies and ensure compliance with brand standards. Serving as a key connector across franchise partners, Taco Bell leadership, cross functional teams, and external lenders and brokers, this role operates at the center of strategic decision making. The position leads a team of three analysts and reports to the Director of Franchising and Finance, offering meaningful people leadership and high-impact exposure across the enterprise.
The Day-to-Day:
Lead, develop, and coach a team of analysts in financial analysis, reporting, and the delivery of clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
Oversee and monitor franchise financial health, including ratio analysis, quarterly executive updates, and annual system-wide financial reviews
Ensure compliance with Taco Bell financial requirements related to franchise transactions and closings, while maintaining best-in-class franchisee collections performance
Develop deep expertise in the Relationship Agreement and provide finance support for related negotiations and interpretations
Drive refranchising and real estate sales strategy, including unit valuation, IRR and profitability analysis, and ongoing monitoring of market trends (multiples, cap rates)
Evaluate and execute franchise and company store acquisition opportunities through detailed underwriting, valuation, and risk assessment
Partner cross-functionally with M&A, Development, Operations, and Legal teams, including preparation of materials and financial insights for Deal Committee and Board review
Build and maintain external relationships with lenders and brokers to support franchisee access to capital and remain informed on industry and capital market trends
Is this you?
At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Analyst role or related job, and 2+ years' experience in a leadership or management position
Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent years of experience. MBA, a plus
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in making capital investment recommendations using financial metrics such as IRR, ROI, and Cash on Cash
Strong desire to present business recommendations to brand leadership and franchisee partners
Demonstrated ability to coach, inspire, and grow a team
Work-Hard, Play-Hard:
Hybrid work schedule (onsite expectation Tues, Wed, Thurs) and year-round flex day Friday

Salary Range: $137,900 to $162,300 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
