Job Title: Field Sales Representative - Delivery Partner Program (Montgomery, AL)Job Description
This role offers an opportunity to help launch a brand-new delivery partner program in the Montgomery, AL area. You will recruit local businesses to join a hub delivery partner network by conducting door-to-door outreach, presenting the program, qualifying prospects, and guiding them through the application process. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, drive referrals through community organizations, and support community-based recruitment events. The position requires regular travel of up to a two-hour driving distance and includes commission opportunities based on each partner successfully converted.
Responsibilities
Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance from the Montgomery, AL area.
Present and pitch the new delivery partner program to prospective businesses, clearly explaining the opportunity and generating interest in applying.
Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step by step through the application process.
Own and manage all lead and prospect activity in Salesforce, ensuring the pipeline remains accurate, current, and well-documented.
Support the Field Manager in planning, organizing, and hosting local recruitment events such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
Partner with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and awareness.
Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis, maintaining accurate records of outreach and application status.
Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners, answering questions, resolving issues, and helping applicants complete requirements in the field.
Collaborate effectively with other local contractors to coordinate outreach coverage, share feedback from the field, and continuously improve recruitment efforts.
Travel daily, up to approximately four hours round trip, to reach targeted business areas and attend community or recruitment events as needed.
Essential Skills
1+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
Proven outside or field sales experience.
CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
Experience with outbound sales activities such as cold calling or door-to-door outreach.
Strong customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
Ability to manage and update a sales pipeline accurately in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
Capability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip on a daily basis as needed.
Comfort working independently in the field while staying accountable to goals and timelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service roles.
Prior field sales experience is a plus.
Previous experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers is advantageous.
Demonstrated professionalism and enthusiasm for working with others.
High sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and act quickly on opportunities.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems for applicants in real time in the field.
Tech-savvy, with experience working with multiple systems and technology tools, including Excel and CRM platforms.
Motivation to earn performance-based commissions tied to successful partner conversions.
Ability to build relationships with community organizations and local influencers.
Work Environment
This is a highly mobile, field-based role centered around the Montgomery, AL area. You will spend 4-5 days per week on the road visiting businesses in targeted towns within roughly a two-hour driving distance, and work from home for the remainder of the time to complete follow-up, CRM updates, and administrative tasks. The work involves frequent driving to various business locations and community venues, as well as attending and supporting local recruitment events. You will use tools such as Salesforce and Excel regularly to manage leads and track activity. The role includes mileage reimbursement and a monthly phone allowance, reflecting the field-based nature of the position. The environment is fast-paced and goal-oriented, with a focus on delivering a high-quality experience to prospective delivery partners in a variety of local business settings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
