Overview
This advanced journeyman-level position provides administrative support within the Operations Department that requires complex duties involving independent judgment and high levels of discretion and confidentiality. The incumbent will assist the Chief Administrative Officer in ensuring the agency's compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations within the Division of Administration, including but not limited to the Office of Property Assistance, Office of Risk Management, Office of Contract Review, Office of Group Benefits, Department of Civil Service, Office of State Travel, and Office of State Procurement.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
As an Administrative Coordinator 4, you'll help create a positive first impression for every person who walks through our doors. In this role, you will:
Schedules interviews, drug and background screenings, and processes reference checks of selected applicants.
Responsible for administrative and operational human resources duties to include but not be limited to processes personnel and payroll forms needed to complete appointments, merit increases, promotions, transfers, and separations, etc.
Provides confidential administrative and technical assistance to the Chief Administrative Officer with duties that require a high degree of independence and judgement in determining the approach/action to take in non-routine matters.
Provides administrative and technical support to CAO in preparation of contracts, amendments, and securing approvals from DOA; Communicates with contractors to obtain supporting documentation and signatures as directed
Serves as a member of LSBN's Records and Information Management team
Assumes other duties as necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the LSBN and the Operations Department.
