Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: West Coxsackie, NY

Pay Range: $27.00-$29.00/hr

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday- 1st Shift

What's the Job?

Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and facility equipment to ensure optimal operation

Diagnose mechanical failures and execute repairs using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment

Assemble and install new production equipment and facility machinery

Fabricate repair parts utilizing machine shop tools such as welding equipment and lathes

Maintain safety standards and adhere to OSHA guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout procedures

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED; technical school training is highly valued

1-3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environments

Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
