As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screener in Greenwood, IN , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access screening at a technology-focused location.

Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or deliveries entering designated areas while documenting activity and reporting unusual findings through security-related channels.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access by following post orders and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior.

Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter as needed, with duties and working conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
