What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.

Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and assist with visitor and employee screening in accordance with site protocols and post orders.

Support emergency and evacuation procedures, render assistance within post guidelines, and maintain detailed incident logs, daily activity reports, and other required records.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
