You will serve as a ELECTRONICS MECHANIC in the Electronic Repair Division, Weapons Repair Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

Duties
Help
You will install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair components of moderate complexity in Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4), Sail Mast and Antenna Systems, and Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS).
You will maintain moderate complex systems that have frequent engineering changes such as design, construction, operating and servicing procedures.
You will use and assist others in the use of various advanced automated electronic test equipment and specialized test equipment.
You will research plans, drawings, sketches, technical manuals, factory specifications, and other publications to assure that equipment meets operational specifications.

You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You may be required to work onboard ships.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
This position may require rotating shift work.
This position requires exposure to high noise levels.
