Key job responsibilities

Develop comprehensive customer growth forecasts and strategic financial models

Partner with business teams to evaluate and validate strategic propositions

Craft compelling business cases that inform critical financial decisions

Enhance financial controllership through sophisticated reporting and process improvements

Leverage data-driven insights to identify and implement strategic opportunities for optimization

A day in the life

Your day will be a blend of strategic analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and customer lifecycle forecast. You'll engage with product and marketing teams, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations that shape Amazon Music's future. From developing comprehensive business cases to supporting critical product launches, you'll be at the heart of our growth strategy.

About the team

We are a collaborative finance team committed to driving Amazon Music's success. We work closely across different finance specialties to deliver comprehensive financial strategies.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Preferred Qualifications

MBA, or CPA

4+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

Knowledge of SQL/ETL

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
