This is a summer (starts in June) and fall co-op (ends in early or mid-December) role. You will need to take the fall semester off. This role is onsite, in Largo, Florida. This role may be eligible for relocation.
What You Will Do:
You will support the Mission Systems Advanced Manufacturing team.
You will work on projects that will have direct impact to factories.
You will help develop solutions to complex problems utilizing advanced manufacturing tools and techniques.
What You Will Learn:
You will learn advanced manufacturing systems and techniques.
You will learn about factory automation, smart torque systems, Ignition development, I4.0.
You will learn software/programming used to deploy automated machinery and systems.
You will be working with a cross-functional team to complete projects.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Working toward a BS in a mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.
Self-Starter work mentality.
Ability to critically think and problem solve.
Prior Intern or Co-op experience a plus.
Programming & data experience a plus.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
