ENTRY LEVEL RETAIL MANAGEMENT

The opportunity to learn Goodwill's Mission! Assist in the supervision of store staff. Open and Close the store in the absence of the Store or Assistant Manager.

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for Entry Level Managers to fill a Retail Supervisor position at our Birch Run Store.

Located in the Birch Run Outlet Center

at 12155 S Beyer Rd., Suite H040, Birch Run, Michigan.

$17.00 an hour plus 20% discount on in-store purchases.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Assist in training, motivating, and communicating with store staff

Promote professional and personalized donor and customer relations

Organize and maintain sales floor and displays

Assist with meeting and exceeding budgeted sales and margin goals

Delegate essential tasks

Lead by example to assure compliance with policies and procedures

Do you have these qualifications?

High school diploma or GED required.

Do you have 1 year of general retail experience?

Ability to use cash register and and follow Goodwill policy and procedures

Ability to work full time; all shift availability and extra shifts as necessary.

Can you demonstrate strong management skills?

Can you lift and carry 35 pounds with or without help?

Can you reach, bend or stoop?

Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day?

Do you have a valid Michigan drivers license?

Can you problem solve quickly and efficiently?

Are you pleasant, cheerful and professional?
