Summary This position is located at the VA Greater Los Angles Healthcare System in Los Angeles, CA in the Office of Patient Care Services within Nursing Service. The Administrative Officer position will perform all administrative functions to include personnel administration, program management, budget guidance, procurement/contracting, quality and productivity goals and long range planning. Responsibilities Reconciles performance management issue for service personnel Recommend personnel actions such as promotions, leave, awards to alleviate duties from higher level authority. Research new management and business practices to improve administrative and clinical operations. Evaluate and plan to ensure efficient utilization of space based on constantly changing and ever-increasing program demands. Manage web-based workflow systems such as SharePoint and LEAF sites to ensure workflow is tracked properly. Serve as subject matter expert related to data capture and the use of spreadsheets and graphical software to help organize, analyze, and apply these data for managerial and clinical decision-making purposes.
