Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Maben, WV area. The pay will be based on experience. It will be for four days a week, nine hours per day. The RN must work together with other program representatives to ensure that members needs are met safely and effectively. They must communicate well and share information identified in member assessments. Skilled nursing services consist of observing, managing, and evaluating care of members. Duties and Responsible: Coordination with case managers to meet member needs. Scheduling and conducting home visits. Timely documentation of services provided. Compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Supervision of direct service staff. Provide training for personal attendants (Homemakers) and complete documentation per program requirements. Prefill members medication box monthly, if ordered per written prescription. Review and approve Personal Attendant logs (PAL) for accuracy before submitting billing and timesheet. Document, report and investigate incidents involving program members. Report suspicions or allegations of abuse, neglect and exploitation to necessary authorities and submit written documentation as required. Responsible for promoting program awareness and facilitating community outreach to increase participation in the Aged and Disabled Waiver Program. Perform duties for ADW program clerk during his/her absence.
