Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in medical assisting, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Conduct follow-ups with patients and update their records.

Enter patient updates into the data management system.

Answer inbound phone calls and address patient inquiries.

Order laboratory tests and relay lab results to patients.

Schedule follow-up appointments for patients.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 1 year experience in medical assisting.

Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly Athena.

Strong understanding of medical terminology.

High School Diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Medical Assisting diploma or certification preferred.

RMA certification is a plus.

Experience with appointment scheduling and patient care.

Excellent customer service skills.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite at a clinic, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clermont, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
