Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate supports a busy window tint distribution operation by accurately fulfilling film orders, maintaining warehouse organization, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with measurements, and the ability to handle physical tasks in a fast-paced, climate-controlled warehouse environment during a 6-month temporary assignment with potential for permanent hire.
Responsibilities
Accurately fulfill daily film orders by pulling and measuring film according to order specifications.
Use a tape measure and convert measurements (such as yards to feet) to ensure precise cutting and preparation of film.
Label products correctly and prepare orders for shipping in a timely and organized manner.
Assemble boxes and packaging materials to safely ship products to customers.
Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing shipments and processing incoming materials.
Use tools such as RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems to track and manage stock.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders for film and related materials as needed.
Conduct full inventory counts to verify stock accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment throughout the workday.
Handle material loading and unloading activities, including moving heavy rolls of film as required.
Cross-train in customer service and answer telephones as needed to support customer inquiries.
Follow established procedures and documentation for order picking, packing, and shipping using carriers such as FedEx and UPS.
Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and use of required footwear.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience in each prior role, with consistent work history in warehousing functions such as order selecting, receiving, and shipping.
Proficiency in order selecting based on purchase orders (POs).
Hands-on experience with warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order picking, packaging, packing, and material handling.
Ability to use a tape measure accurately and either measure or quickly learn to measure film and other materials.
Ability to convert measurements, including converting yards to feet, to meet order specifications.
Experience with warehouse inventory processes, including receiving material in a warehouse setting.
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds to handle heavy rolls of film and other materials safely.
Comfort using RF scanners or similar devices for inventory and order processing.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent level of education.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and documentation.
Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled hours from Monday to Friday.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with ERP systems in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Familiarity with UPS WorldShip or FedEx shipping software.
Previous experience in a smaller warehouse setting.
Demonstrated ability to maintain organization and cleanliness in a warehouse environment.
Strong communication skills to support cross-training in customer service and answering phones.
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly in a distribution setting.

Work Environment
This role is based in a smaller, climate-controlled warehouse that focuses on distributing window tint products to automotive and building customers. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing consistent daytime hours. Work involves standing, walking, lifting rolls of film up to 50 pounds, and performing tasks such as order picking, packing, and material handling. The environment uses tools and systems such as RF scanners, ERP software, and shipping platforms like UPS WorldShip and FedEx. Steel toe shoes are required as part of the dress code to support safety in the warehouse.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
