Twice voted \"Best of the Berkshires,\" we are sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 2013 and maintain a mission-based environment for our staff and residents. We are seeking to hire a Director of Dietary - Food Service to join our dynamic team of professionals. This is a working role, requiring active involvement in every aspect of the Dietary Department. - \$73K to \$77K annually based on skills and experience Director of Dietary - Food Service Chef Qualifications: - 3 years of Food Service management experience. - One year of Long-Term Care experience preferred. - Active Certified Dietary Manager certification required. Director of Dietary - Food Service Job Summary: - Plan, cook and serve meals as needed. - Develop and revise dietary policies with consultation of Dietitian. - Interview, select, orient, and oversee training of Dietary staff. - Supervise Dietary staff. - In conjunction with the Human Resource Director, carries out disciplinary actions as needed. - Make bi-weekly department schedules, adjusting as necessary for absences. - Plan menus and develops recipes. - Plan theme meals, buffets, parties, etc. with the Activity Director and/or Administrator, and other Department Heads as needed. - Coordinate decoration of the Dining room for holidays and special meals with the Activity Director.
