THE WORK

Design and implement production flow lines for process efficiency
Analyze and execute layout projects for maximum utilization of manufacturing floor space
Ensure production areas are up to 6S standards
Conduct times studies for data collection and optimization of production processes

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Capable of leading improvement / optimization projects
Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Desired Skills:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent verbal/written communications skills
Experience with statistical analysis and data analytics
Experience with analytical tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
Familiarity with SAP or a related manufacturing system
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts and technique and experience generating/implementing process improvements

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
