We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator 2to join our Recreation department - a hands-on, supportive, caring, and passionate team that moves the department forward. This position plays a key role in the operations of the Recreation department, coordinating pavilion events, preparing orders, maintaining accurate records, and much more!

Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Coordinates pavilion events with the Recreation Therapists for the residents.
Monitors the residents while they are participating in the events at the pavilion.
Conducts daily inventory of all items that are to be sold.
Prepares orders for items that need replacing.
Responsible for accepting payment from residents and making change as necessary.
Keeps accurate accounting of funds and maintains accurate records of sales.
Responsible for keeping the work area and surroundings clean using sanitation standards.
Attends mandatory in-service trainings and department or agency meetings as needed and ensures a smooth operation of the department.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Location:This vacancy is located in the Recreation Department at LDH/OAAS/Villa Feliciana Medical Complex in East Feliciana Parish, Jackson, Louisiana
Appointment Type: This position may be filled by a probation or a promotion of a permanent state employee.
Work Schedule: 8-hour Days Monday - Friday
