Our client, a utility service provider, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an essential part of the customer support department, helping to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing professional and courteous service, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Darlington, SC

Pay Range:

Shift: 8:15 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Answer incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding services

Assist customers with setting up new accounts, processing payments, and handling account inquiries

Explain billing statements, process payments, and address billing discrepancies

Take service requests for maintenance, repairs, or emergencies and ensure timely follow-up

Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions properly

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in related field is a plus

At least 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a utility or public service environment

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively
