FOUNDATION OPERATIONS MANAGER
BOISE, IDAHO and EASTERN OREGON
SUMMARY:
The Foundation Operations Manager serves in an operational and systems leadership position to guide development strategy efforts with donor/prospect management.
Serves as the database lead and manages foundation CRM database to ensure integrity of data, analytics, effective prospect and donor management and reporting systems in collaboration with Trinity Health System Office of Philanthropy (THSOP).
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Additional continuing education/professional development in areas of fundraising, data management (CRM), or communications preferred.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in fundraising with working knowledge of data management and project management.
Five plus years of experience in fundraising office and working knowledge of Raiser's Edge/Blackbaud CRM preferred.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Manages prospect development process including candidate generation and plan data management as outlined by THSOP.
Candidate generation includes identifying areas of prospect generation from internal departments and external resources. Compile and prioritize lists of donors and prospects to understand the giving capacity and propensity of its constituency. Identify and prioritize new prospects for major gifts through data mining, pulling targeted lists to support campaigns. Share output including wealth and affinity indictors with appropriate team members.
Plan data management includes entering plan and managing steps, assuring that interactions and opportunities with prospects and donors are entered by respective team member. Accurately capture and manage data by team from Learn, Align, Build and Invite phases. Collaborate Foundation Department and organizational leadership to inform about benchmarks and goals for each phase gate process. Ensure proper turnover occurs in assignment portfolios and that new prospects are added per the metric standard from THSOP. Monitor and confirm reports are showing progress of goals correctly. Collaborates with THSOP to submit and receive prospect research reports.
Manages CRM system at local level including all upgrades or system-wide initiatives related to CRM and responsible for oversight of all donor acknowledgment processes including data entry standards and donor correspondence. Manages foundation operations team, ensuring all policies and procedures related to acknowledgement, data, donor recognition, etc. are followed.
Develops and oversees a process for pulling standard and complex reports including donor giving, stewardship, financial reports to support work of philanthropy efforts. Works in coordination with THSOP or other ministries to respond to requests from department colleagues for specialized reports and/or mailing lists ensuring proper testing/validation for data integrity.
Leverages daily patient information and partners with philanthropy teams to execute strategy for effective donor/prospect and physician engagement with Grateful Patient and Families Programs at Saint Alphonsus
Serves as data lead at Saint Alphonsus to assure data processing and financial stewardship such as timely check deposits occur as it relates to work associated with CRM - and works in coordination with other ministries.
Practices and demonstrates extraordinary stewardship to all donors and volunteers.
Provides exceptional customer service while anticipating and exceeding needs of our customers.
