Key Responsibilities Contribute to process improvement and business transformation projects for Baker Tilly's healthcare clients with a focus on health systems and hospitals Collaborate with clients and internal teams through discovery sessions and interviews to identify, understand and translate business needs, processes and challenges into effective process documentation and requirements Analyze healthcare data sets to support client initiatives, including but not limited to claims, remittance, EHR, clinical workflow improvement, and patient accounting data Analyze and interpret healthcare transactional data (e.g., claim, payment, adjustment, and denial information) to identify issues, anomalies, or process breakdowns Define key processes and capabilities to develop deliverables like process maps, capability definitions, or reporting inventories Ability to own solution components from requirement through implementation Manage project workstreams and tracking project financial throughout a project Manage third party vendor relationships to as needed on behalf of clients and project needs Construct status reports and project communication to client teams. Participate in various phases of system implementations or optimizations which may include supporting client engagements with: Design definition System and acceptance testing and validation activities Data mapping, migration and integration efforts Support for defect tracking, assessment, and categorization Post go-live support Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, engineering, computer science, management information systems, healthcare, public health, or related field Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience working with or for a healthcare provider organization Healthcare provider industry experience required Flexibility to travel to client site as needed and work outside of normal business hours due to client demands. Experience working with healthcare data sets and operations, with demonstrated experience in at least one (1) of the following: EHR implementation or optimization Electronic Health Record (EHR) data 837 claims data (professional, institutional, or dental) 835 remittance / payment data Patient accounting / billing system data Revenue cycle / financial transactions data VBC contract performance adoption and improvement Clinical or operational healthcare data Provider order sets and clinical documentation Demonstrate management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required Self-motivation, organization, time-management, and deductive problem-solving skills.
