As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Shift in Lake Buena Vista, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests, residents, and staff with professional service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.

Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, amenity spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directional support and guest inquiries, and document security-related observations, incidents, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
