As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Hazleton, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report maintenance, lighting, or other property concerns that may impact daily operations.

Support loss prevention and operational awareness efforts by observing equipment areas, shipping and receiving activity, and other sensitive spaces, then reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations according to post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
