Woodworking company in East Earl, PA is looking for a Master Electrician on 1st shift. Looking for a candidate who can take on the electrical maintenance in the plant and help with training others. This is a direct hire opportunity with the company. Retirement plan and health benefits provided!

Pay Range: $35-45/hr

Job Functions:

Understands production process' and supports/contributes opportunities for continuous improvement

Facilitates root cause of machinery downtime failures High Level of Customer Service skills to satisfy equipment operator requests Must be able to balance tasks within their area of responsibility with overall department tasks assigned throughout areas of the entire complex as needed

Troubleshoots complex electrical and/or mechanical problems and perform repairs

Promotes safety through work procedures and employee safety programs. Ensure equipment is maintained in safe operating condition

Assigns tasks to the Maintenance Electrician

Performs any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Team Leader and/or Facilities manager

Essential Skills

Ability to identify correct sizes of a conductor.

Knowledge of common @types of conduit and recognition of conduit bends.

Understanding of 3-phase motors and ability to differentiate between a fuse and circuit breaker.

Familiarity with 3-wire control circuits and recognition of markings on nameplates.

Ability to speed up or slow down a 3-phase induction motor.

Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and the AS400 system.

Proficiency in written and verbal communication.

Operation skills of a variety of hand tools and multi-meters.

Capability to compose documentation for wiring schematics/drawings.

Planning, coordination, and controlling skills.

Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and electrical wiring diagrams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $83200.00/yr.
