We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact in our outpatient behavioral health clinic in Hammond, LA. An ideal candidate will create and maintain a welcoming environment for clients and visitors and provide administrative support that keeps our front office running smoothly. Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
This support may include a variety of clerical duties which include but are not limited to:
Answering multi-line telephones and routing phone calls to the appropriate staff or taking detailed messages
Greeting clients
Notifying staff of client arrivals
Conducting check-in and check-out procedures for clients
Verifying insurance coverage
Contacting clients with appointment reminders
Processing faxes received
Entering information into an electronic health record (EHR)
Maintain a supply of the necessary packets for both clients with scheduled appointments and walk-ins.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type:Probational Appointment. Applicants may be asked to service a probationary period that may be anywhere between 6 months and 24 months.
Compensation:This position is eligible for premium pay of $1.00/hour for hours worked performing direct patient care.
Administrative Coordinator 3 : $13.77/hour minimum - $23.59/hour maximum
