Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join their team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be an integral part of the finance department supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Nutley, New York

Pay Range: $70/HR W2

What's the Job?

Ensure compliance with all US GAAP and oversee the consolidation of financial statements.

Assist the accounting team with the monthly financial close process, including review of account reconciliations, journal entries, and maintaining accurate supporting analysis and documentation across various complex accounting areas.

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, including Cash Flow and Shareholders' Equity reports.

Analyze period-over-period fluctuations and provide insightful commentary on key business drivers in assigned accounting areas.

Support numerous special projects and respond to inquiries from global accounting teams through research and detailed analysis.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in financial reporting and accounting, preferably within a corporate environment.

Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial consolidation processes.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
