The Production Support Services Division Office (PSS-DO) is seeking an energetic, customer-focused undergraduate student to support administrative operations. This role is ideal for a
motivated, reliable, and organized individual who can adapt to frequent interruptions and shifting priorities while demonstrating initiative. The successful candidate will work effectively
in a team environment with personnel at all levels and provide administrative support to the division's management team and administrative staff. This position requires flexibility and
the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure.
What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
Demonstrated experience providing professional expertise for a busy environment, dealing with multiple customers and tasks. Ability to multitask and prioritize when needed.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written, demonstrating the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
Excellent hands-on knowledge and experience with standard business applications, including MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Mail and Calendar.
Demonstrated experience with planning and providing logistical and technical support for meetings and events. Knowledge of web conferencing (WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
Demonstrated willingness to accept flexibility in work assignments and a record of dependability and reliability as proven through good attendance and quality work.
Attention to detail and willingness to learn new procedures and look for opportunities for process improvement.
Proven ability to produce quality work by applying attention to detail, managing time, and seeing tasks to completion.
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Demonstrated experience following established procedures and practices.
Desired Qualifications:
Google docs/Microsoft teams and other collaborative service experience
Experience scheduling and handling multiple calendars using Microsoft Outlook
Ability to troubleshoot computer and technical issues
Education/Experience: Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program. Must be enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours (or full-time equivalent). Must currently
have and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
Work Location: The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.
