Our client, an industry leader in automotive manufacturing, is seeking a 2nd and 3rd shift Manufacturing Associate to join their team. As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring the efficient packaging and inspection of automotive parts.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: 2nd and 3rd shift Manufacturing Associate
Location: Columbus, IN
Pay Range: $19
Shift:
2nd - 3pm - 1130pm with mandatory overtime as needed
3rd -11:00pm - 7:30am with mandatory overtime as needed
What's the Job?
Pack or package a variety of automotive products by hand
Inspect parts coming off the line or machine for quality and coating
Support production by handling parts weighing up to 25 pounds, with occasional containers up to 40 pounds
Work on a 24/7 basis to meet customer demands, including overtime when necessary
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
What's Needed?
Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing setting
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
Strong reading and understanding of English, including directions and signage
Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Dependability - Good Attendance is a must
