Mechanical Engineering Technician
Open to Entry-Level Engineering Graduates
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Technician to support our engineering team in the design, testing, manufacturing, and improvement of mechanical systems and components. This position is well suited for recent engineering graduates looking to gain hands-on experience, as well as candidates with technical training who want to grow in a dynamic engineering environment. The role combines practical, hands-on work with analytical problem-solving and offers strong mentorship from experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Assist engineers in designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems
Use CAD software (such as SolidWorks) to prepare and modify technical drawings and models
Conduct simulations, tests, and data collection to evaluate system performance
Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems, equipment, and proto@types
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
Document procedures, test results, and design changes clearly and accurately
Collaborate with engineers to implement design modifications and continuous improvements
QualificationsRequired
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, or
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ideal for entry-level applicants)
Basic proficiency in CAD tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to follow established procedures, safety standards, and engineering guidelines
Preferred
Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, prototyping, or lab testing (academic or internship experience acceptable)
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, mechanical assembly, or industrial equipment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marianna, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
