Job Description
AECOM is seeking to hire a VP , Supply Chain & Logistics Advisory Consultant position within the US East Advisory Business Line.
The Consultant position will be part of AECOM Advisory, working across businesses lines and in conjunction with Global Goods Movement Market Sectors to support collaboration with clients by providing technical skills in advisory services and supporting program and project execution.
This role will:
Provide experience and technical expertise in supply chain management, logistics and distribution-related project execution.
Drive growth of multi-discipline project pipelines with existing and new clients via advisory services to help solve their supply chain challenges.
Provide expertise to pursuits and projects in support of other AECOM business lines.
Be responsive and collaborative with Goods Movement clients in need of supply chain consulting expertise.
Collaborate with AECOM leadership on strategic growth initiatives such as advanced manufacturing, mining, automation and future of logistics, energy transition, and digitalization.
The ideal candidate will provide a wholistic set of technical, analytical, and soft skills while exhibiting the flexibility and adaptability necessary for working with our clients and navigating complex, fast-paced environments. Skills needed include problem solving, data analysis, project management and execution, risk analysis and management, and demonstrated expertise in supply chain planning and logistics operations. Candidate is a "systems thinker" who can understand the business and operational drivers for infrastructure projects, for both public and private sector applications:
Project Management: Skill in managing projects, timelines, and deliverables in fast-paced and complex client delivery. Has experience working in a consultant/private sector-like environment.
Collaborate with AECOM leadership on strategic growth initiatives such as advanced manufacturing, mining, automation and future of logistics, energy transition, and digitalization.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation & Logistics, Transportation Planning, Business Administration or a related field of study.
12+ years of related supply chain, logistics experience within the transportation industry.
6+ years of project management/leadership entailing exposure to project execution or logistics operations.
Exposure and experience in global trade, operations, and port infrastructure supporting logistics and shipping.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fifteen or more years of related supply chain and logistics experience.
Deep experience with global trade, operations, and port infrastructure.
Experience in freight and supply chain planning.
Network planning and transportation sourcing.
Broad experience across the Supply Chain, covering multiple areas such as Planning, Procurement and Sourcing, Manufacturing, Distribution and Enablement.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $220000 to $290000.
