Human Resources Assistant (part time but must work during core business hours!)

Job Description

This part-time position is designed to provide administrative support during the HR Manager's maternity leave. The role focuses on handling administrative tasks for both the manager and coordinator, such as weekly payroll, assisting in the transition of employees from the current system to a new system, and managing additional administrative responsibilities and projects.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for the HR department.

Assist with weekly payroll processing.

Aid in transitioning employees from the current system to a new system.

Handle various administrative responsibilities and projects as needed.

Support the HR Coordinator by managing tasks they may not have time to complete.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in administrative support and data entry.

Basic knowledge of payroll and human resources processes.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

An HR background is beneficial but not required.

Recruitment experience is a plus.

Willingness to learn and quickly grasp new concepts.

Interest in human resources.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, requiring approximately 24 hours per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Davis, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
