This position will be responsible for: 50% - Being present and available at student award ceremonies and special events, to assist with logistics and public relations 50% - Providing specialized writing assistance to faculty and researchers on scientific topics for a wide variety of audiences Qualifications Required Qualifications: At least five years of experience in communications At least two years professional writing experience Experience working with scientists; science or scientific-communication background Excellent written and verbal communications Ability to build relationships and engage people in laboratory activities Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.33 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
