Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Medical Assistants in Pearland, Texas! This role is in person for training, then transitions to remote. Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume.

Location: Onsite training in Pearland, TX then remote / work from home

Position Type : Four-month contract, opportunity for extension or full time offer

Schedule : Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm

Pay : $22.30 to $24.30 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant :

· Document all interactions and updates in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and promptly.

· Handling incoming patient calls

· Inbasket management

· using various EHR platforms, analytics tools, and Microsoft Office.

· Maintain professionalism, compassion, empathy, cultural competence, and sound judgment in all interactions.

Qualifications of the Medical Assistant :

· High school graduate or GED equivalent

· Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program

· Active NRCMA or RMA credential

· Prior experience in primary care preferred
