SUMMARY
The Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for operating and supporting multiple manufacturing processes to meet production, quality, and safety objectives. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the flexibility to cross-train and perform effectively across various operations. The technician will work collaboratively with production, engineering, quality, and facilities teams to ensure reliable workflows and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment across multiple manufacturing operations.
Perform job duties in accordance with standardized work instructions, safety policies, and quality requirements.
Participate in cross-training activities and achieve certification in multiple operational areas.
Conduct in-process quality inspections and accurately document production results.
Troubleshoot equipment or process issues and identify maintenance concerns; escalate issues as required.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
Follow daily production schedules to meet output, throughput, and volume expectations.
Collaborate with production and facilities teams to resolve issues and improve workflow reliability.
Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in training other team members after demonstrating competency in specific operations.
Other duties as required in support of the department and the company

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Technical Associate's Degree, required
3+ years of experience in manufacturing industry, required
3+ years aerospace/medical device industries, required
Experience working with IPC-A-610 standards, preferred
Experience with Laser, Etch, Wet Processes (Electroplating) or Sputtering operations, preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
IPC-A-610 certification, preferred
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Conversational in any other language is a plus.
JOB SKILLS
Intermediate in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
Reach and understand technical documents, work instructions and equipment manuals.
Proven ability to learn and retain multiple processes, equipment operations and quality standards.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability for follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.
Willingness and ability to cross-train and rotate between multiple operations based on business needs.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
As part of their job duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day while frequently using their hands to handle objects and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to reach, stretch, push, pull, crouch, stoop, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. SALARY INFORMATION:
According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $23.00 and $30.00 hourly. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline. When extending an offer, Amphenol Critical Medical Technologies considers various factors such as the position's responsibilities, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, essential skills, internal pay equity, and market considerations.
Certain roles are also eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases and annual bonus. These awards are discretionary and allocated based on individual and company performance. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 11 scheduled paid holidays, up to 80 hours of paid time off and sick paid time off.
