Who are you?
You're detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing complex processes in a fast-paced lending environment. At C&N, we're seeking a Construction Loan Administrator to oversee and manage our residential construction loan portfolio after origination.
In this role, you'll monitor construction progress, manage draw disbursements, ensure compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines, and identify potential risks. You'll serve as a key point of contact across multiple partners-including lenders, contractors, and appraisal management companies-helping ensure projects stay on track and loans are administered accurately.

You will be responsible for:
Construction Loan Administration: Manage post-origination construction loans by reviewing draw schedules, processing advance requests, coordinating inspections, and monitoring project progress against timelines.
Risk Monitoring & Reporting: Identify and escalate potential construction risks, track delays or issues, and prepare reports highlighting at-risk or delayed projects.
Financial Controls & Reconciliation: Reconcile inspection fees and borrower fund balances, ensuring funds are properly managed and disbursed within approved timelines.
Portfolio Management: Monitor loans for completion timelines, extensions, and modifications. Prepare required documentation in accordance with bank and investor guidelines.
Secondary Market Support: Prepare construction loans for sale and ensure compliance with investor, portfolio, and mortgage insurance requirements.
Collaboration & Relationship Management: Serve as a liaison between customers, contractors, lenders, and internal teams to support communication and ensure a smooth construction lending process.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all activities meet bank policies, regulatory standards, and investor requirements while exercising sound judgment and risk awareness.
Customer Service Excellence: Deliver high-quality service while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements:
Education & Experience - You will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) AND 2-4 years of experience in mortgage lending, construction loan administration, loan servicing, or related areas OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills - You should possess well-developed abilities and a proven track record in the following areas:
Knowledge of residential construction lending and draw processes
Understanding of investor guidelines and mortgage insurance requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
