** The Food Bank and Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and operation of City Harvest Food Bank and the Aging and Nutrition Services Warehouse. This role oversees City Harvest program development, daily operations, staff and volunteer management, data collection, fiscal management, and the coordination of all agency food drives. The position develops and maintains professional relationships with community partners, donors, and participating agencies to support program sustainability. This role also oversees receiving, inventory control, and organization of food and supply deliveries for the ANS Kitchen and residential sites. The manager ensures warehouse operations are efficient, safe, and compliant, maintaining food and supply storage areas in accordance with sanitation guidelines and agency procedures. This position plays a key role in supporting cross program operations and ensuring consistent service delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for City Harvest Food Bank operations, serving as the primary point of contact for participating food pantries, prospective recipients, and community partners.
Supervise City Harvest staff and volunteers, including one full-time employee, ensuring effective program operations, strong volunteer engagement, and consistent service delivery.
Lead relationship building and coordination for food procurement, including donations, food recovery partnerships, and vendor relationships that support City Harvest distribution.
Oversee day to day City Harvest operations during open hours, ensuring food is received, stored, and distributed appropriately and that client and partner feedback informs program operations.
Coordinate procurement and distribution of food.
Provide leadership and oversight for ANS Warehouse operations, supervising one full-time warehouse employee and coordinating receiving, organization, and distribution of food and supplies.
Ensure food and supplies are accurately received, inventoried, and staged to meet the needs of the ANS Kitchen, Meals on Wheels, Congregate Dining, and residential programs.
Maintain accurate inventory systems for bulk food, frozen and shelf stable items, and residential meal supplies, serving as the primary point of contact for residential programs requesting warehouse support.
Ensure warehouse, storage, and food handling areas comply with sanitation standards, safety requirements, agency procedures, and applicable funder regulations.
Assist the Associate Director with budget monitoring, data tracking, reporting, and compliance related to City Harvest and warehouse operations.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with community partners, internal ANS program managers, and regulatory entities, and provide operational backup and additional support as needed.
Ensure vendor deliveries are distributed to the proper program departments and residential sites
Create and maintain digital inventories for all food items ordered and received in bulk

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Driving in company vehicle(s) to a variety of locations occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision and the ability to quickly adjust focus.
Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds throughout scheduled shift.
Inside and outside warehouse activities/job responsibilities and duties may have to be performed in adverse weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment can vary from low to high depending on driving and/or warehouse activities
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full Time Exempt
Monday - Friday Typically between 6am - 2:30pm
Evening, weekend hours and designated holidays may be required based on program events or assigned job duties.

SALARY: $59,000-$63,000 annual exempt

Minimum Qualifications of Position
Two years' direct experience in programming operations, including supervisory responsibilities.
Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, with the ability to obtain required certifications within 60 days of hire.
Own transportation, valid Colorado driver's license, and proof of insurance.
Pass criminal background checks.
Preferred Qualifications of Position
Experience driving a standard box truck or larger vehicles.
