Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour - CONTRACT for 1 year

Shift: 1st shift

What's a typical day as Accounting Associate? You'll be:

Performing moderately complex clerical accounting duties, including calculations, reconciliations, verifications, and postings to ensure accuracy in accounting processes.

Preparing in-house checks for virtual remittance to the bank and posting Advance Lease Payments, working closely with the Lease group for proper application.

Processing rejected payments and collaborating with business areas on proper handling of incoming checks and payments.

Extracting relevant data, inputting it into spreadsheets, and supporting data management tasks.

Creating, organizing, and maintaining files and correspondence records.

Preparing routine letters, memoranda, and reports using standard office software.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have a high school diploma or equivalent (upper secondary school).

Bring 7 to 12 months of experience with straightforward accounting procedures or systems.

Demonstrate strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office applications.

Have excellent attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Are self-motivated and possess strong verbal communication skills.

Have previous experience working with live checks (experience as a bank teller is a plus).

Are eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (now or in the future).
