Position Summary...
As the Senior Manager of Product Development - Seafood & Sushi (Member's Mark), you'll own the end-to-end creation and evolution of high-quality, member-loved products that define our private brand in fresh categories. This role sits at the intersection of culinary innovation, supplier strategy, and business performance.
Success in this role means consistently delivering new and improved sushi and seafood products that excite members, meet the highest quality standards, and drive meaningful growth for the business. You'll lead complex product development initiatives from concept through in-club execution-balancing speed, cost, quality, and innovation in a highly cross-functional environment.
What you'll do...
What You'll Do
Bring new seafood and sushi products to life by leading the full product development lifecycle-from concept and benchmarking through launch-ensuring products meet member expectations, quality standards, and financial targets.
Own product performance and continuous improvement by evaluating items in-market, identifying gaps vs. specifications, and driving enhancements that improve quality, consistency, and member satisfaction.
Drive cross-functional alignment to deliver on time and at scale by partnering with merchants, sourcing, suppliers, and quality teams to proactively identify risks, remove roadblocks, and ensure seamless execution.
Elevate product quality and differentiation by leveraging industry trends, competitive benchmarking, and supplier innovation to create best-in-class offerings within sushi and seafood.
Translate strategy into execution by aligning product decisions to merchandising goals, ensuring each item supports broader category growth, margin targets, and brand positioning.
Lead sourcing and specification rigor by ensuring all product documentation, data, and specifications are accurate, complete, and audit-ready-enabling efficient development and scalable production.
Solve complex product and supply challenges by conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and communicating solutions clearly to stakeholders.
Influence the future of Member's Mark by providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership on new product opportunities, assortment expansion, and innovation pipelines.
What You'll Bring
A track record of successfully launching and scaling food products , ideally within seafood, sushi, or fresh/perishable categories.
Strong ability to own outcomes-not just process -with a demonstrated history of delivering products that meet quality, cost, and timeline goals.
Experience working cross-functionally with merchants, suppliers, sourcing, and quality teams to bring products from concept to shelf.
A sharp eye for product quality, specifications, and sensory details , with the ability to translate member expectations into tangible product improvements.
Proven ability to analyze product performance and identify opportunities to enhance quality, reduce issues, and drive business results.
Comfort navigating ambiguity and solving problems in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment .
A strong understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and innovation within seafood and sushi .

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
