We are seeking a Principle, Market Strategy to join our Ad Tech Services team as an individual contributor, reporting directly to the Global Leader of Ad Tech Services. This role will drive strategic initiatives that optimize customer success, develop tools and mechanisms to deliver and coordinate customer specific Go-To-Market motions, and scale our operations to support Amazon DSP's rapid growth across enterprise customers and agencies worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
Go-To-Market Planning & Execution
Define and expand operational excellence across service delivery, aligning tool and product innovation with go-to-market motions
Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Analytics, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Legal, BI) to define and improve processes and tools that better serve customers as we bring ad product innovations to market
Utilize deep knowledge of core business objectives and Amazons Ad and Marketing technology stack. You apply this knowledge to invent, evolve, improve and simplify strategies (when appropriate).
Assess risk, drive clarity, and foster shared understanding by diving deep on proposed solutions and/or strategies to ensure customer success at the point of delivery
Operate with complete independence to lead planning and develop mechanisms in areas where the long-term strategy has not yet been defined
Aggregate and synthesize key insights from multiple sources to define strategy, develop new opportunities, and drive alignment
Servicing Strategy & Revenue Activation
Build the tools and partnerships that develop the trader facing go-to-market strategy; identifying variant need by customers segment; determining messages that compellingly reflect the product's value proposition; and planning for the distribution of this messaging at point of service
Develop customer expertise frameworks and enablement programs that drive trader self-sufficiency, sophistication and product adoption, accelerating enterprise product adoption and pipeline growth
Develop best-in-class planning frameworks and strategy best practices for enterprise trading desks and agency partners
Drive servicing innovation to position Amazon DSP as the preferred programmatic platform for advertisers
Align end-to-end servicing execution for Programmatic Solutions Consulting team to Global Ad Services strategy, ensuring the seamless integration of the servicing strategy at point of delivery
Cross-Functional Leadership & Executive Influence
Proactively drive business and senior leader reviews, up to VP, aligning teams toward coherent and effective business and to-to-market strategies.
Impact product adoption in-market via the development of appropriate roll out milestones and schedules, ensure timely and successful delivery of feature roll outs
Influence organizational priorities, internal and external business owners, and business and/or technology direction. You manage cross-functional communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed and needs aligned.
Act as a thought leader within Amazon Ads, driving best-in-class servicing vision and value proposition across Amazon's programmatic properties. Advocate for customer needs and simplifying and propagating feedback to inform product and services design
Analytics, Operations & Performance Optimization
Drive organizational changes to enable teams to remove dependencies and/or eliminate inefficiencies to accelerate our speed of delivery, increase scale and impact for our customers.
Create, optimize, and drive adoption of the critical mechanisms necessary to ensure your strategy will be successful in the long-term (with and without your involvement).
Design and implement servicing processes, templates, and tools to drive consistency, transparency and impact across customer engagements
Analyze and interpret data to identify improvement areas, root causes, and formulate strategic recommendations, collaborating to develop reporting solutions that track operational efficiency and customer success

Basic Qualifications
9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
